The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
