The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
