The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
