Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
