NOW, VERILY, it is We who have created man, and We know what his innermost self whispers within him: for We are closer to him than his neck-vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 “You were indeed neglectful of this, so We have removed the veil for you, and your eyesight is sharp this day.” 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
