Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
