The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
