Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 "I convey unto you the Messages of my Lord and give sincere advice to you. And I know from Allah what you know not. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 But they called him a liar, and We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and drowned the others who rejected Our signs, for they were a people purblind. 64
