It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
