SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
