The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca. First revelation of the Quran before The Pen (Al-Qalam)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Read in the name of your Lord Who created. 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Recite: and your Lord is Most Generous, 3 who taught by the pen, 4 Hath taught man that which he knew not. 5 Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening 6 because he thinks himself self-sufficient: 7 for, behold, unto thy Sustainer all must return. 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 a servant when he prays -- 10 Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?- 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 Have you seen if he denies and turns away - 13 does he not know that Allah sees? 14 Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades): 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah]. ۩ 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
