The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
