The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
