Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
