The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

ALIF LAM MIM. 1 This is the Book; there is no doubt in it. It is a guide for those who are mindful of God, 2 Who believe in the unseen and establish the (daily) prayer; who spend out of what We have provided them. 3 And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter. 4 These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. 5 Those who deny your message will not believe whether you warn them or not 6 Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment. 7
