The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
