And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
