The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 It is the shining star -- 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
