Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
