We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
