Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty; 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace, 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
