Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Is it their minds that bid them [to take] this [attitude] - or are they [simply] people filled with overweening arrogance? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 What! The daughters for Him, and the sons for you? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or do they desire a war? But those who disbelieve shall be the vanquished ones in war. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror). 45 The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
