Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
