۞ Allah says: 'Do not take to yourself two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me' 51 And to Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, and obeying Him only is obligatory; so will you fear anyone other than Allah? 52 Whatever bounties you have are from God. When hardship befalls you, you begin to cry out to Him. 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 [as if] to prove their ingratitude for all that We have granted them! Enjoy, then, your [brief] life: but in time you will come to know [the truth]! 55 They set aside a portion of the food We have given them for those they do not know. By God, you will surely have to answer for all you contrive! 56 And they assign daughters unto Allah! Glorified (and Exalted) be He above all that they associate with Him!. And unto themselves what they desire; 57 When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. Shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Now surely evil is what they judge. 59 For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 60
