See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
