T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We have not sent down this Qur’an upon you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to fall into hardship! (Either because he used to pray at length during the night or because he was distressed due to the disbelievers not accepting faith.) 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 it is a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 And if thou say anything aloud, [He hears it] since, behold, He knows [even] the secret [thoughts of man] as well as all that is yet more hidden [within him]. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 When he came near the fire he was called, "Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 The Hour of Resurrection is coming. I have willed to keep the time of its coming hidden so that everyone may be recompensed in accordance with his effort. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 Said He: "Throw it down, O Moses!" 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
