The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
