Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
