The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
