۞ We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his rectitude of conduct, and well were We acquainted with him. 51 Recall, when he said to his father and his people: "What are these images to which you are devoutly clinging?" 52 They said, “We found our forefathers worshipping them.” 53 He said, “Indeed you all – you and your forefathers – were in open error.” 54 They said: "Are you expressing your true ideas before us or are you jesting?" 55 He said: Nay! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who brought them into existence, and I am of those who bear witness to this: 56 And, by Allah, I shall circumvent your idols after ye have gone away and turned your backs. 57 He broke them all into pieces, except for the biggest one of them, so that they might return to it [for enquiry]. 58 They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!" 59 They said: We heard a youth called Ibrahim speak of them. 60 They said, 'Bring him before the people's eyes; haply they shall bear witness.' 61 They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?" 62 He said, 'No; it was this great one of them that did it. Question them; if they are able to speak!' 63 Then gathered they apart and said: Lo! ye yourselves are the wrong-doers. 64 Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): "Indeed you [Ibrahim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!" 65 He said: What! do you then serve besides Allah what brings you not any benefit at all, nor does it harm you? 66 Fie upon you and upon all that you worship beside Allah. Do you have no sense?" 67 They said: "Burn him, and come to the support of your gods, if you are going to do anything." 68 But We said, "Fire! Be cool and a means of safety for Abraham." 69 They had devised an evil plan (against Abraham), but We turned it into failure." 70 And We saved him and Lot [and brought them] to a land which We had blessed for all people, 71 We bestowed Isaac and then Jacob on him as an additional boon and We made all of them righteous. 72 And We made them Imams who guided (people) by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of the alms, and Us (alone) did they serve; 73 And (as for) Lut, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town which wrought abominations; surely they were an evil people, transgressors; 74 And We took him into Our mercy; surely he was of the good. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
