Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
