And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
