T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We did not reveal the Qur'an to you to cause you distress; 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high. 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 God, there is no deity but Him. His are the most excellent names. 8 Have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)." 24

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
