۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
