And recite unto them the story of Ibrahim. 69 When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?" 70 They said: we worship idols, and we are unto them ever devoted 71 He said: Do they hear you when you call? 72 or benefit you or do you harm?" 73 They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so." 74 He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,- 75 You and your ancient sires. 76 They are an enemy to me, except the Lord of all Being 77 who created me, and Himself guides me, 78 He who gives me food and drink; 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me, 80 And Who causeth me to die, then giveth me life (again), 81 It is He whom I expect to forgive my sins on the Day of Judgment. 82 O Lord, give me wisdom and admit me among the righteous, 83 And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; 84 And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss 85 And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray. 86 and disgrace me not on the Day when people will be raised to life, 87 “The day when neither wealth will benefit nor will sons.” 88 Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). 89 And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous. 90 and the Fire will be uncovered for those who strayed, 91 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship 92 Other than God? Can they save you or even save themselves?" 93 Then the idols and those who strayed will be hurled into the Fire headlong, one upon another, 94 And the soldiers of Iblees, all together. 95 There they will quarrel with one another and the erring ones will say (to their deities): 96 "By Allah, we were surely in clear error 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 “And none misled us but the guilty.” 99 And now we have none to intercede for us, 100 Nor any loving friend. 101 "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" 102 In all this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 103 surely, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
