And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
