The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
