The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The Most Merciful 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He created man, 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 9 And He appointed the earth for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 And created jinn from the flame of fire. 15 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has given freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet: 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 His too are the ships that run, raised up in the sea like land-marks. 24 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
