▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
