Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
