The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
