Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
