Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months. 3 In it descend the angels and Jibreel, by the command of their Lord – for all works. 4 does it make secure, until the rise of dawn. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
