Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
