Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 and the severally severing 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
