Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
