And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
