Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
