O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. 153 Do not consider those who are slain for the cause of God to be dead. They are alive but you are unaware of them. 154 And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided. 157 ۞ Truly Safa and Marwa are the symbols of God. Whoever goes on pilgrimage to the House (of God), or on a holy visit, is not guilty of wrong if he walk around them; and he who does good of his own accord will find appreciation with God who knows everything. 158 Those who hide the authoritative proofs and the guidance that We have revealed, after it has been made clear for the People of the Book, will be condemned by God and those who have the right to condemn. 159 Except those who repent and do reform and disclose (the truth) – so I will accept their repentance; and I only am the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 Under it they shall remain forever; their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be granted respite. 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
