Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
